Social Media Day Keynote Announcement | Meet the panelists

For the 10th anniversary of the conference, it’s only fitting that Fred Campos will moderate the Social Media Day expert panel.

A little known fact about Fred is that he celebrated Social Media Day with Lissa in 2011 before our first conference. Lissa, Fred and about 50 others gathered at Texas Love ‘n War in Grapevine for a Facebook VS Twitter showdown. Fred represented the value of Facebook and Lissa represented the power of Twitter.

For those of you new to Rocks Digital, we celebrate Social Media Day every year – hence the conference which is held on June 30 each year. Fred was at the very first Rocks Digital in 2012 (known as DFW Rocks Social Media at the time) and not only presented a session, but co-presented an afternoon session with Lissa on planning social media.

You can be assured that Fred – along with our other expert panelists – will share key points on social media, live video streaming, paid social advertising, small business marketing, and many other aspects of digital marketing! Now let’s meet the panelists.

Meet the main Social Media Day panelists

Fred Campos, Owner of DFW Website Designers, Panel Moderator

Fred Campos, former owner of Fun City Social Media turned DFW web designers, created websites and helped with online marketing for over 500 small businesses.

Previously, he taught social media marketing courses across the country, and even on Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines. A winner of Toastmasters Humorous Public Speaking contests at the regional and district levels, Fred is sure to educate and entertain.

His latest experience is 3:3:3, where he broadcasts 3 trading tips for 3 minutes to 3 hours every day. It was THE biggest and easiest social media marketing campaign he’s ever done. From following 30-minute updates of his life for more than a decade on Twitter (@FredsDaily), to lower the IQ on the HEB ISD school board, come and benefit from the energy and expertise of Fred Campos.

Sarah Ciociola, Director of Paid Media at PCG Digital, panelist

Sarah Ciociola is the Director of Paid Media for PCG Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency specializing in automotive digital advertising. She takes pride in overseeing the agency’s paid search and social media marketing teams, and is passionate about educating dealerships on how to execute digital marketing in a privacy-driven environment.

His biggest accomplishments with the agency have included leading PCG’s paid social media team to be one of the first agencies in the industry to educate car dealerships on how they should prepare their advertising on social networks for Apple’s iOS14 update.

Currently, she is working alongside founder Brian Pasch to rewrite the current Google Playbook and educate the industry on a new framework for automotive search engine marketing.

Robin Moss, owner and web developer at ribit, panelist

Robin Moss is the best frog at ribit, a full-service digital marketing agency she founded in 1994. Ribit provides clients with marketing and social media strategy, custom WordPress websites, e-commerce sites , SEO, content creation, graphic design and branding.

Robin’s commitment to quality enables its customers to take their business to the next level. She works with startups, from designing logos, brochures and websites to strategies. With existing businesses, she updates their current “look” and develops marketing campaigns that drive target markets into action to buy their products or services.

Ribit has won numerous awards – Dallas Tops, Newmedia INVISION, Rockport Publishers, Web Awards, SXSW and One Show to name a few – and Robin herself has been personally honored with Multimedia Producer Magazinethe award for the top 100.

Believing that the key to growing her business is giving back, Robin was committed to producing pro bono work from the start. From the very first Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure website to her work for the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Junior Police, Robin continues to give back to the community that has treated her so well.

Robin was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and earned her BBA in Marketing and Advertising from Southern Methodist University and her MBA in Marketing from the University of North Texas. She currently lives in Addison, Texas with her poodle Catie, a rescue dog.

Tanya Smith, Video Strategist and Business Coach, Panelist

Tanya Smith, Video Strategist and Business Coach, works with Coaches and Course Creators to amplify their voice and “kiss their face” on video so they can stand out online, serve more people – and sell more of their services.

In over 15 years in business and 30 years as a business analyst, Tanya has established a reputation as an outstanding leader in the digital content space, earning several prestigious certifications and awards.
