Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain and Indian batter Virat Kohli is an active social media user and frequently shares his thoughts and inspirational messages with his fans on microblogging sites. The 33-year-old recently uploaded a still image of himself doing batting drills in the net.
Of note, the Red Army suffered defeat at the hands of defending champions Chennai Super Kings. RCB will next face Delhi Capitals (DC) led by Rishabh Pant in their next Indian Premier League encounter (IPL) 2022 to be played on April 16 (Saturday).
The former RCB skipper shared a picture on Instagram wearing the new RCB shirt and wrote: “If you’re immersed in the joy of doing what you love then everything else doesn’t matter.” In the photo, the right-handed hitter can be seen aiming for a point shot and warming up before the next game.

Kohli performed well for his team in the current edition of the IPL. The right-handed hitter had two over-40s in five matches and was crucial for his side in their encounter against five-time champions MI. However, Kohli (1-for-3) failed to get a shot against defending champions CSK in RCB’s last game. Fans have yet to see the best of Kohli in IPL 2022 and he could show his talent against the Capitals.
The Red Army will want to win their next encounter against the mighty Capitals. Note that the skipper Faf du Plessis, after scoring a fifty in the first match, was not as successful. The South African hitter will also want to contribute with the bat.
Talking about Kohli’s total number in the IPL, the senior hitter played 212 games in which he amassed a total of 6390 points. The 33-year-old has a 37.15 GAA and a 129.98 pass rate in the franchise’s toughest league. He has stroked 42 half centuries and counts five hundred in the history of the IPL.
